Beautiful 1988 Pontiac Fiero Formula.

The Formula model was introduced for the 1988 model year and featured stiffer suspension, basketweave wheels, a rear spoiler, sport seats, and quadruple exhaust tips when compared to the standard Fiero.

Black 15″ basketweave wheels are mounted with 215/60 Thunderer Mach IV tires. Vented disc brakes can be found at all four corners.

The interior includes manually-adjusted sport seats trimmed in grey velour as well as salt-and-pepper boucle carpets protected by matching floor mats. Amenities include power locks, air conditioning, cruise control, and a center console with storage between the seats.

The stock steering wheel is mounted to a tilting column and frames a Formula-specific 120-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and an odometer showing just over 1,875 miles (3038 kms). An oil pressure gauge and voltmeter are mounted atop the center stack, which also houses a Delco cassette deck.

The 2.8-liter L44 V6 is mounted transversely behind the driver’s compartment and mates to a Muncie 4-speed automatic transaxle with a 3.61:1 final drive. Factory output was quoted at 135 horsepower and 165 lb-ft of torque

The WS6 suspension package featured on the Formula model consisted of heavier linear-rate springs as well as a thicker anti-roll bar up front and and the addition of an anti-roll bar in the rear.
